FLASHPACKERとは使うところではガンガンお金を使うタイプの旅人を指す。従来の貧乏旅行タイプのバックパッカーと区別するため、フラッシュパッカーという新しい名称が生まれた。
Flashpacker, is the name for the traveler who spends money for his specific reason. The new name, “Flashpacker” was born to distinguish from the backpacker of the classical bugget travel.
ここ10数年で僕たちを取り巻く環境は激変。好きなものにお金をかける余裕が無い、未来に向けての希望がない。日本の人口はここ数年減少するばかり。若い世代は、車離れ、ファッション離れ、遊び方も激変。インターネットが浸透し、ファストファッションが出現。自ら情報を探し、触れ、選ぶ、本物を手にする喜びも、「それ」っぽいモノで紛わせ、すぐに飽き、また移動して行く。自分の目指すもの、好きなもの、欲しいものを手に入れるために努力を惜しまないこと。無駄なところではお金を使わず、自分にとって大切なものには惜しまずお金を使うこと。そういう人たちのライフスタイルウェアを作っていきたい。それがフラッシュパッカーなのです。

But flashpacker does not stop struggling to get his targets or his favorites. He does not waste money for something useless to him, but spends only for something important to himself. I want to make that kind of lifestyle-clothes for such people. That is “Flashpacker”.
